Charlotte was born in 1870, the daughter of John Kidson and Martha Newport.[1]
She married Robert Leighton in 1889.[2]
She passed away in 1945.[3]
LEIGHTON.—On November 8, 1945, at Island Bay, Charlotte, beloved wife of the late Robert Henry Leighton, late of Timaru, and loved mother of Ralph, Charles; and Tom; aged 75 years. Evening Post, Volume CXL, Issue 113, 9 November 1945
Charlotte was buried in Karori Cemetery, Wellington, New Zealand.[4]
