Robert married Muriel E. Kerr (born on October 14, 1918 in San Francisco, San Francisco, California, USA; daughter of Clyde Leslie Kerr and Catherine (Fernandez) Kerr). Their children were:

In addition to the close match, it should be noted a distinctive signature marker DYS449 = 29, which sets this Kenyon line apart from the other Rhode Island Kenyon males. With the additional testing of other Kenyon males from this line, the signature marker is determined to have started at Samuel Kenyon. It would thereby be expected to affect all Kenyon males descended from this line.
