Biography
Elihu II was the son of Elihu and his first wife, Rebecca (Kellogg) Kent
He "was in the Revolutionary Army with his father, and was captured by the British on Long Island and confined for a long time as a prisoner of war in the old Sugar House in New York, where he suffered greatly." (King)
He married Elizabeth Fitch, daughter of Asahel and Silence (Howe) Fitch in 1781 - their children were Rebecca, Elizabeth, Samuel, Azel Fitch, Edward, Sarah and Horace Leavitt Kent
