Biography

Mary Anna Kenshole (married name Abercrombie) was born on 25 October 1845 in Exeter, Devon, England^[1], the daughter of Anna Kenshole (nee Heath) and Samuel Kenshole.

The ship, Victory set sail from London, England via Plymouth, England in September 1852 with the KENSHOLE family among the assisted immigrant passengers and arrived in Port of Geelong, Colony of Victoria on 24 December 1852^[2]. The KENSHOLE family from Devon consisted of parents, Samuel (age 38, Tailor, Read & write) and Mary Ann (41, Read & write) and their children, Samual (14, Agr. Labourer, Read & write), Mary Ann (6), George (4) and Elizabeth (2).

She married Andrew Thomson Abercrombie on 11 August 1866 in Geelong, Colony of Victoria^[3]
