Biography

According to these and other genealogical findings, I am of direct royal and noble descent, on both sides of the family and through multiple lines, from over 400 ruling monarchs from British and Eurasian history. Since every person is created equal in terms of inherent worth, this information is simply a matter of personal identity for me.

• 'Prince Luke' is a chosen styling which reflects being a great-grandson of so many ruling sovereigns [more details on this below]. It is also a registered and licensed title.

• 'Sir Luke' is a title of respect by which I am called in my country; it is also a licensed title, but it does not indicate any sort of knighthood or peerage.

• 'Lord Kemp-St. Margaret' is my 'lord of the manor' title over our estate/property. It is also a licensed title, reflecting my being a 29th great-grandson of Saint Margaret, Queen of Scotland (1045-1093).

• 'Lord of Hougun Manor' is a licensed title. My direct line to the ancient Godwinsson family prompted and is reflected in this symbolic title.

• 'Laird of Blackwood' is a licensed title. This honorific is for my direct line to several great-grandfathers and great grand uncles of the ancient de Vere/Weir family, including the twenty Earls of Oxford, and Ralph de Vere, patriarch of Veres/Weirs of Blackwood, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

• 'Lord of Glencoe' is a licensed title. It reflects my direct line back to the original, my 23th great grandfather Angus Macdonald, Lord of the Isles. When Lord Angus fought in the War of Independence for King Robert I (another 23th great grandfather), the "Bruce additionally bestowed the islands of Mull, Jura, Coll and Tiree, and the districts of Glencoe, Morvern [and] Lochaber" in Scotland.

Thanks to such incredibly vast and centralized 21st-century genealogical networks (such as, wikitree, ancestry, &c.), I have found:

• 125 of 126 direct blood relatives (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents) for seven generations. In the eighth generation,
• 111 of 128 fifth great-grandparents are determined, and in the ninth generation,
• 187 of 256 sixth great-grandparents are determined; in all, for nine generations,
• 423 of 510 direct relatives have been determined so far, and several lines extend for twenty or thirty, even up to sixty plus generations.
• only 195 of 512 tenth-generation seventh great-grandparents determined so far.

• I have blood relation to nearly ALL U.S. Presidents; 40 of 45, and the other five are related by marriage (Martin van Buren, William McKinley, Dwight Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan, and Donald Trump).

• Of 54 British Prime Ministers, only 34 actually have extensive, searchable wikitree records; 32 of those 34 are my cousins by blood and four more are related by marriage.

• ALL of the 17 lineaged Magna Carta Surety Barons are my great-grandfathers (24th-27th), except for two that are brothers and are therefore my great grand uncles.

• Of the 23 Grand Masters of the Knights Templar, only two have lineages down to the present (on wikitree). One of them, Robert de Craon (1070-1147), the 2nd grand master of the order, is my 29th great grand uncle; and the other, Robert de Sablé (1155-1193), the 11th grand master, is my 28th great grandfather.

• I have either blood or marriage relation to most European Royalty and Nobility for the past 1500 years.

• I have blood relation to all Kings and Queens of Jerusalem (medieval 'Crusaders')

• I have blood relation to all Holy Roman Emperors of Europe

• I have blood relation to nearly all the ancient 'Kings of the Britons' and the '(High) Kings of Ireland' (AD to BC).

• I am thankful to have found this knowledge, knowing that it resides within the realm of human error.

An exhaustive study was done these past months to discover how many ruling sovereigns can be called my great-grandfathers (by direct descent as a great-grandson), as well as, great-grand uncles (brothers of great-grandfathers, to whom I'm a great-grand nephew), and, otherwise, cousins (1st, 2nd, 3rd, &c., which are also blood relatives, sharing one or more great-grandparents).

The current and historical countries surveyed include the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales), Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Holland/the Netherlands, Italy, Sardinia, Sicily, Naples, Lombardy, Burgundy, Galicia, Barcelona, Portugal, Greece, Albania, Serbia/Yugoslavia, Romania, Bulgaria, Bohemia, Belgium, Armenia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Transylvania), Eurasia/Middle East (Russia, the Byzantine Empire, the Empire of Constantinople, the Islamic (Rashidan & Umayyad) Caliphates, Thessalonica, Jerusalem, the Visigoth Kingdom, the Hun Dynasty), and the Americas (Mexico and Brazil).

Of these 44 states, 1060 ruling monarchs were found (having the necessary ancestral and descendant lineages), of which were 506 cousins, 161 great-grand uncles, and 385 great-grandfathers. Only eight of the 1060 were of no known relation.

For this reason, of being a great-grandson of 385 [update, 400+] ruling sovereigns over the history of Europe, I have progressively licensed various titles to reflect my direct connection to so many ruling houses (de Vere, Godwinsson, Wessex, Tudor, Carolingian, Normandie, Anjou, Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Bruce, Stewart, Plantagenet, Hannover, Habsburg, Hohenstaufen, Romanov, Merovingian, &c.), and I will henceforth style myself by the licensed title of "Prince Luke, Lord Kemp-St. Margaret."

According to international law, someone may call themselves by any title they choose, provided they do not use it for the purpose of defrauding others.

My Royal Patroness

Saint Margaret, Pious Queen of Scotland (1045-1093), my 29th great-grandmother, was the exiled granddaughter of Edmund Ironside, king of England. At the Norman conquest, her family fled north, seeking protection of the Scottish kingdom of widowed King Malcolm III. They married in 1070, producing eight children, including three kings of Scotland and a queen consort of England.

Chroniclers all agree in depicting Queen Margaret as a strong, pure, noble character, who had very great influence over her husband, and through him over Scottish history, especially in its ecclesiastical aspects.

Her religion, which was genuine and intense, was of the newest Roman style. She attended to charitable works, serving orphans and the poor every day before she ate, spent much of her time in prayer, devotional reading and teaching piety, and was considered an exemplar of the 'just and holy ruler.'

St. Margaret was canonized in 1250 in recognition of her personal holiness, fidelity to the church, work for ecclesiastical reform, and charity" (wikipedia).
