Yes, definitely put me on the roster! I'm not sure how much time I'll have to dedicate that weekend (it's my wedding anniversary, so I should probably give the hubby at least as much attention as the dead ancestors get) but I'll do my best!
Sandy and I have been getting ready for take off!!! She set us up a Discord Channel so we can communicate with each other about our Project and I have been trying to recruit more people and updating our page.
I added a link to a spreadsheet that we can use to track our progress. I am also going to add a shareable one for those who want to make it a joint effort.
It’s Pam from the WikiTree Facebook Group. If I hear anything I’ll let you know. I’m gonna set up,a group for us to communicate and track our progress.
Thanks again.
As usual, I have the best team for the thons!!! Thank you for being a Legacy Heir for the January 2022 Connect-A-Thon. I am hoping you will join me for the next thon too!
As we start this first Thon of 2022, I just want to say thank you for being a Legacy Heir!!! Have fun with this one and remember, We take it at our own individual pace. If you like to love one profile all weekend, so be it! Make that the most beautiful profile you can. If you choose to do many profiles!!! That is great too!! Just make sure you have at least one good source. Even one contribution makes this amazing tree more beautiful, healthy and strong that it was before that contribution!!
Family, obligations and most importantly, YOU are more important than the thon! We love having you here, but if something comes up, elsewhere, take care of that first. You Rock Legacy Heirs, lets have some fun and connect some profiles!!
Since Pip has already confirmed your membership, you can start adding sources to the profiles on WikiTree at any time. You may be restricted on some profiles by their privacy levels. It sounds like you are anxious to get started.
Thanks for joining us! I hope you're enjoying our site and our community. I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Has the New Member How To Pages been helpful or has it left you with questions?
It's great to have you on board. Enjoy your time here, and good luck growing your branches. If you need help just click on my name and you will be transferred to my profile where you can post a message or send me a private message.

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
Thank you, Cheryl! I've started going through the How To pages when I get a chance, so I'm learning! My biggest question, I guess, is when it's considered OK to add people who aren't already on the tree, especially those who can link to someone already in the tree. I have seen a few branches that I can contribute to, and I am confident that I have good sources for these individuals. I would not do a GED file because some of the people on my tree are already here and others are not well sourced, and my personal philosophy is that a little more work inputting my tree by hand could make for the need for a lot less clean up later. I am just a little nervous to jump in since I'm new. -- Roxanna
Thank you, and yes, my Underwood ancestors did migrate to North Carolina from Chester County, PA. My direct ancestor is Mary Underwood Cook Wells, who moved to Guilford, NC after the death of her first husband. She is the sister of Samuel Underwood of Orange County.
I'll assume if I haven't heard from you in the next ten days that your interest in the project has changed, and I'll remove your badge.

In case you’d like to continue creating profiles for these soldiers we have a new space page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:POW%27s_Who_Died_in_Andersonville_Prison whose purpose is to steadily create profiles for the 12,681 soldiers buried in Andersonville National Cemetery.
Thank you again for joining the Challenge.

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified.
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordination is essential. Thanks for joining the QUAKERS and MEXICO Projects.
