Biography

William Keen was born in Hanslope, Buckinghamshire in 1836, and baptised there on 20 November, 1836, the son of John Keen, a labourer and Mary Tame. Their abode at the time was given as Buttington End, Hanslope. ^[1]

In 1841 William was living in Hanslope, his father John seems to be away from home on census night:
