Mikołaja U-49 (nowa sygn. 29/329/267)." translates to: Birth certificate of the mother of John Paul II. Emilia Anna Kaczorowska was born in Kraków in 1884. She was baptized almost three weeks after her birth, on April 13, 1884, in the parish of St. Santa. USC St. Nicholas U-49 (new reference number 29/329/267).

According to Wikipedia: "His mother was Emilia Wojtyła, née Kaczorowska. She was born 26 March 1884 in Biała, Poland. Her parents were Anna Maria (Scholz) and Feliks Kaczorowski. Her name would later be given to a road tunnel built in Silesia, in March 2010 (Tunnel Emilia).[3] She died of heart and kidney problems on 13 April 1929 in Wadowice, Poland. His only sister, Olga, died in infancy before Karol was born."

I believe Findagrave is incorrect ... but her birthplace is a toss up between Bielsko-Biala and Krakow. I'll see if there is a birth record.

The museum of her son says it was Kraków. I would say that is correct.

Between this site and the Museum, this is sufficient proof of her place of birth. Findagrave is often erroneous.
