Josephina was born in 1896. She was the daughter of Carlos Jácome and Dionícia Germán.
She was a volunteer with church, charitable and symphony groups in Washington and Lincoln, Neb. A resident of Nebraska for many years, she moved to the Washington area 18 years before her death. She was a native of Tucson and a graduate of the University of Arizona. She briefly taught Romance languages in high school in Bisbee, Ariz., about 1920.
She was a volunteer with the National Symphony decorators show house and a member of the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington, the Christ Child Society, Republican Women's Forum and Capitol Hill Club.
She married Cliffton Bloom.
She passed away April 13, 1993 at the age of 97 of a brain tumor at her home in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
She was buried in the East Lawn Palms Cemetery and Mortuary, in Tucson, Arizona.
