Emma (Jones) Baldwin is a part of US Black heritage.

Emma was born about 1902. She was the mother of famous writer James Baldwin.

Notes

Emma's parents are transcribed from her marriage record as "Alfred Jones and Laura Neivins." Her Social Security Application more accurately identifies them as Alfred Jones and Leah Bivins.
