Biography

When Onie Ruesch Jones was born on April 28, 1905, in La Verkin, Utah, her father, George, was 38, and her mother, Clara Isabelle Wilson, was 26. She married Alma Dayer LeBaron and they had six children together. She left the marriage and Dayer came to Arizona urging her to return. They conceived a son, who died in infancy. Then she filed for divorce and then married Clifford Ruesch on August 5, 1944, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had a daughter together. She died on December 29, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 83, and was buried in her hometown.
