Marjorie Vera Jones was born on 16 July 1911 in Onehunga, Auckland, New Zealand, daughter of Frederick Henry Jones (1882–1915) and Daphne Emily Wallis (1882–1955).[1]

Marjorie (17) married Philip Arthur Southerwood (23) (born on 8 May 1906 in Hampden, Otago, New Zealand) on 1 June 1929 in New Zealand.[2] Their known children were :

  1. Phillip Stanley Southerwood[3]
  2. Ann Southerwood[4][5]

Marjorie died on 2 March 1997 in New Zealand, aged 85.[6] Marjorie was mentioned on a memorial in Canterbury Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, Bromley, Christchurch City, Canterbury, New Zealand with a death date of 2 March 1997.[7]
