Birth

James Monroe Johnson, called Doad, was born in March 1869 in Vandalia, New York, United States to William Henry Johnson (1833-1913) and Isabell Matilda Shirline (1847-1932).

Marriage and Family

He married Maud L. Cartwright (1877-1946) in 1892.[1] She married again after his death.

  1. Harry Ambrose Johnson, called John, was born on 5 October 1894 in Vandalia, New York, United States. He married Nina L. Hatch (1902- ) on 2 August 1919 in Cattaraugus County, New York. Harry died on 3 October 1972 in Pasco County, Florida, United States.
  2. Edwin Hall Johnson was born on 19 February 1902 in Allegany, Cattaraugus, New York, United States. [2] He died on 26 May 1984 in Pensacola, Escambia, Florida, United States.
