Biography

Joseph "Edward" Johnson was born on 22 Nov 1904 in San Saba, Texas. He was the son of John Johnson and Lillie (Hamrick) Johnson. The 1920 census^[1] lists Joseph as living with his family in San Saba where his father is an attourney.

Joseph graduated from Baylor University in 1927 and took up residence in Brownwood in 1929.

Joseph married Blanche Dabney in 1941. Blanche gave birth to their three children, two sons named John and Edward and a daughter, Kathleen. John was married to Kira Alexander Harris.

Joseph Edward Johnson passed away^[2] on 07 April 1978 in Brownwood. He is buried^[3] at Greenleaf Cemetery, Brownwood, Brown County, Texas next to Blanche.
