Biography
Lilian Johnson was born on January 16, 1893 in Victoria, British Columbia[1]. She was the daughter of Oliver Jónsson and Gudrun Finnson.
At the time of the 1901 Canada Census, Oliver, Gudrun, John V, Byron I, Lilly O, and Annie D Johnson were listed as living in Victoria, along with Gudrun's sister Lizzie Finnson[2].
Lilian married Cleland Russell in Victoria on July 6, 1921[3]. At the time of their marriage, Lilian's occupation was listed as "School teacher".
Lilian died in Vancouver, British Columbia on March 11, 1969[4], and was buried in First Memorial Gardens Park, North Vancouver, British Columbia[5].
