Hi Kathleen, I love your family photos. Keep up the great work. Carolina Gast Gast-598 has a nice photo on ancestrylibrary.com. I haven't learned to do pictures, but I will learn -sometime. Please put her photo into Gast-598 and thank you in advance. Your Hein, Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany, Gast, Alsace France family is interesting and has relatives in nearby rural Switzerland. My sister married a Hein.
Sorry Maria I have not been on to look at your message .. I am not that interested right now I would have to Refresh My self on where my main line came from William Orr of Ireland the first to come to the USA. I will look at the project and decide

Hello, Kathleen. Nice to discover another cousin! Per the Relationship Finder on Wiki, we are 7th cousins once removed and related through Matthew Fairchild's sons, Caleb (your line) and Joseph (My line.)
Hi Kathleen, I was surprised we are related by the Rettig family, rather than the Johnson family. I have found over the years, however, that Rettigs are much easier to connect with than Johnsons. I have a 2nd cousin, Joe Rettig, also descended from Ludwig Rettig, and he lives in Cincinnati, Ohio. I live in Zachary, LA outside of Baton Rouge. My husband and I are from Sikeston, Missouri (S.E. bootheel of Missouri). My husband was transferred down here in 1977, and our daughter married a man from here. I had the pleasure of meeting Joe and his wife and sharing information. I have my documented information on Ancestry.com. I find WikiTree too restrictive. Please visit my "Cline Family Tree of Kentucky." I would love to talk sometime. (225) 788-5999.
We are listed as being connected by DNA. I am related to Johnsons of Southern Illinois in the 1800s. I find Wiki Tree confusing to use but if you are interested we can see how we link I will work on the program. Thank you, Margaret Cline Harmon
