Biography

Lionel Capper Johnson was born in 1875, the son of George William Johnson and Marianne Johnson. He married Mary Caroline Menzies (daughter of Stephen James Menzies) on 29 July 1897^[1]

He was a medical practitioner^[2]

After the death of his first wife he married secondly in 1938 Dorothy Gladys Hitch (1904-1975, daughter of Sidney Osbourne Hitch and Elizabeth Emma Hitch)^[3]

He died in 1954 in Bournemouth, Dorset aged 79^[4][5] and is buried at Jordans Friends Burial Ground, Jordans, Chiltern District, Buckinghamshire^[6]
