In the 1900 census Fannie (age 11) was the daughter of Guss Johnson in Beat 3, Yazoo, Mississippi.[1]
In the 1910 census Fannie (age 20), Housekeep, was the widowed daughter of Guss Johnson in Beat 4, Holmes, Mississippi, United States.She is shown as Fannie Phillips, Marital Status: Widowed; Relation to Head: Daughter; Number of Children Born 2; Number of Children Living 2. It can be inferred that she is the mother of the two Phillips grandchildren in the household.[2]

Fannie died in June 1929 in Holmes, Mississippi, United States.[3] Her son Cicero was recorded in the 1930 census living with her sister Lela Johnson Tubbs.
