John Johns was a Virginia colonist.

John was born in 1700. John Johns ... He passed away in 1760.[1]

John, the elder appears to be listed on the 1760 reconstructed census for Caroline County, Virginia, along with Jacob Johns. This John cannot be the younger John Johns who died in 1752 and whose will is mentioned in the Caroline County, Virginia court order books.

Caroline County, Virginia Court Order books

  • 1760. John JOHNS is an executor or admin. for the estate of Thomas RICHERSON. NOTE: This cannot be the son of John d. 1752 as he is still listed as a minor in 1763. It is probably then the elder John Johns who is believed to be the father of John Johns d. 1752. Thomas Richerson was married to the daughter of John Johns d. 1752.
