Biography
Vladimír was born in 1938 in Hradec Králové. He successfully graduated from gymnasium in Přelouč, Pradubice. After he studied journalism in Charles University in Prague. Although he graduated in this degree, he worked his whle life as an illustrator and director of animated movies. His most memorable works are Pat a Mat and Bob a Bobek - Králíci klobouku.
Vladimír also wrote for several magazines (Dikobraz, Mladý Svět, Literární Noviny, Živa, Lidové Noviny) as well as number of books including Anekdoty pro civilizaci (Anecdotes for civilization, 1977), Knížka pro snílky (A book for dreamers, 1989) or (Ne)kuřácká knížka (Book for (non)smokers, 2000).
He died in year 2012.
