Biography
Mr. Jewett was educated in the public schools of St. Louis; graduated from the Washington University of St. Louis with degree of A. B. ; from the Polytechnic with degree of E. M., and from the University of Munich, Germany. He was United States assayer in St. Louis, from 1881 to 1894, after which he removed to Mexico and became interested in mining and smelting.
