Biography

Maria Jane Jewell (married names Logan, then McPherson) was born around 1873, the daughter of Mary (Campbell) Jewell and Edwin Jewell.

She married Francis Joseph Logan in 1892 in Victoria, Australia.^[1] Their daughter was:

• Gladys Jewell Logan (1895–1973)^[2]

Francis died in September 1900.^[3]

Maria remarried in 1908 in Victoria, to John Dougald McPherson.^[4]

Maria died in 1921 in Kensington, Victoria, aged 48 years.^[5]
