Juliane (Jeske) Manthey was born in Prussia
Juliane was born in 1841.
The family emigrated in 1873, arriving in Queensland, Australia aboard the Friedeburg in August of that year. Listed as a family group on the passenger list were Peter (34), Juliane (30), Gustav (7), Elizabeth (5), August (3), and Agnes (infant aged 6-months), and also Johann Jeske (57) Schwiegervater (Father-in-law).[1]
She passed away in 1906.
