I am 3rd son of James A Jennings and Virginia D Beamon born in Wilkes General hospital. We lived in Fairplains community until my father went to Baltimore,Md to help deliver Christmas trees and check for job opportunities. He was hired at Glenn L Martin company in Middle River and eventually moved our family up when I was 2-3 years old. we lived at Victory Villa for several years then to 1524 Chilworth avenue in Ballard Gardens. My brothers and I attended Martin Boulevard Elementary grades 1 to 6. my family moved to 5123 Kenwood Avenue in Overlea 1966, 'i attended 7th grade at Middle River Junior High school followed by Golden Ring middle school 8th and 9th grades, Overlea Senior High grades 10-12. I followed my father into the automatic transmission repair business which he started in 1958 after my graduation in 1971. I worked there until my older brother Gary and I sold the business in the end of 2020.I married Pamela Cathrine Bindon on Dec 3rd 1976, had daughter Heather on fathers day 1977, son Jared October 30th 1985. Pamela died from inflamatory metastatic breast cancer she fought for 10 1/2 years November 1 2011. Technically, my last name should be Kilby. My great grandmother did not marry the real father (Will Kilby) of my Grandfather (Sherm Jennings) and she gave him the last name of her first husband Druie Senter Jennings.
