Biography

Margery Jenkins was born in Victoria in 1855,^[1][2] the daughter of Lewis Jenkins and Ann Thomas. Her birth was registered in Ballarat. She was the first of 6 children. Her siblings were Cath Jenkins (1859-?); Jannet (1863-?); Jenkin (1865-?); Margaret (1867-?); and Ann (1870-?).

Margery Jenkins, daughter of Lewis Jenkins and Ann Thomas, married David Williams, son of John Williams and Mary Griffiths, in Victoria in 1877.^[3] They had two children: Mary Ann McLaurin-Smith (1879-1954) and Elizabeth Margaret Williams (1881-1954)

Margery (Jenkins) Williams passed away in Victoria in 1883. Her death was registered at Egerton.^[2] She was survived by her husband David Williams and daughters Mary Ann McLaurin-Smith and Elizabeth Margaret Williams.

Her widowed husband later remarried. ^[4]
