Emmaline Victoria Jeffries (married name Ternes) was born in 1885, the daughter of Emmaline (Hay) Jeffries and George Rutherford Jeffries.

She married Alfred William Fowler Ternes in 1906 in Victoria, Australia.^[1] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}

• Yvonne Marie Ternes (1908–?)
• Denise Victoria Ternes (1909–?)
• Georgette Emilie Ternes (1912–?)
• Phillip Alfred Ternes (1913–1914)

Emmaline died in 1965 in Brighton, Victoria.^[2]
