Biography

Emma Evaline Janney was born on 5 Jan 1870 in Delaware County, Indiana, the daughter of George Janney and Lavina McCreery. ^[1]

Emily E Janney was 4 months old on 18 Aug 1870 when her family was ennumerated in the 1870 United States Census. At the time she was living with her parents George L and Lovina (McCreery) Janney in Washington Township, Delaware, Indiana. ^[2]

In 1880 she was 10 years old and living with her parents and sister Grace in Harrison, Delaware, Indiana, United States. ^[3]

On 9 Jul 1889 she married Walter M Hedgeland in Delaware County, Indiana. ^[4]

She died on 2 May 1937 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Delaware, Indiana of Pulminary Tuberculosis ^[1] and was buried at Union Cemetery in Eaton, Delaware, Indiana. ^[5]
