Alexander was born in 1700 or earlier. He passed away about 1749.
Will
In his 27 September 1747 will, Alexander Jamysen of Warwick, Bucks, Pennsylvania left his plantation to his wife (1) Martha for the duration of her widowhood or 10 pds per year. To son (2) Henry the plantation except for 50 acres on the side next to Dr. Rodman which I devise to my son (3) William Jennyson. Son Henry is to pay his brother (4) John 60 pds. when he comes of age 21. Son Robert (5) to receive land upon which William Booz lives, he staying to pay the debt and then giving his brother (6) Alexander Jr. 100 pds when he comes of age 21. (Plus additional changes should Henry or Robert die without issue.) Wife Martha and sons Robert and Henry made executors. Witnesses are [sister] Ann Miller and her husband William (Bucks Co. Wills 11-146). Proved 29 March 1749.[1]
Notes. Alexander had 5 sons. Three of them, Henry, Robert and William, were 21 or older in 1747, i.e. born 1726 or earlier. Two, John and Alexander Jr. were not yet 21. Alexander didn't marry Martha until 1727.[2]
Conclusions:
Martha was Alexander's 2nd (or +) wife, and the mother of his sons John and Alexander Jr.
Estimate Alexander birth: 1747 (date of Will) - 22 (minimum age when 1st son born) - 25 (minimum age of oldest son, knowing 3 are 21+) -> Alexander was born in 1700 or earlier.
