Elizabeth Jeanette "Betty" Jamison was born on 24 July 1929 in Lubbock Texas to Ead Warner Jamison and Thelma (Trussel) Jamison[1]
She attended Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio, Texas.
Elizabeth Jeanette Jamison, married William Kyle Rote, Sr. in 1949, and they had four children – Kyle, Jr., Gary, Chris, and Elizabeth. Rote, Sr. played professional football with the New York Giants. Their oldest son, Kyle Rote, Jr., was one of the first notable soccer stars from the United States.
