Hannah was born in 1857 in Dodge County, Wisconsin, United States to immigrant parents Wilhelm F Jaeger and Sophia Hennig. She moved to Kossuth County, Iowa where she married Herman Stricker at Algona, Iowa on December 11, 1875. [1] They raised their family in Kossuth County until 1899. By June of 1900, they had moved with their younger children to Oregon, near Portland. The two oldest daughters (Minnie and Alvina) were married before this move, and remained in Iowa with their husbands. The other children moved with the family. Hannah passed away November 9, 1931 in Multnomah County, Oregon. [2] She is buried in Rose City Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, United States.[3]
