Oliver W. "Ollie" Isom was born on December 8, 1933, in Lebanon, Kansas.
He married Gaylene Edith Owens in 1956 in Bentley, Kansas. They had two children during their marriage. He passed away on July 17, 2014, in Derby, Kansas, at the age of 80, and was buried in Bentley, Kansas.
