Elizabeth Baird Inglis (married name Scott) was born around 1832, the daughter of Elizabeth (Watson) Inglis and John Inglis.
She was married to Arthur Wilson Scott. Their children were:
Elizabeth died on 25 May 1885 at her home, "Clyde Bank Cottage" on Studley Street in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia, aged 53 years.[6][7] Her remains were buried at the Melbourne General Cemetery.[8]
SCOTT.—On 25th May, passed away, after five months' great suffering, at her residence, Clyde Bank Cottage, Studley-street, Collingwood, Elizabeth Baird Inglis, wife of Arthur W. Scott, brassfounder, eldest and last surviving daughter of the late John Inglis, Oldbasin, Port Dundas, Glasgow, Scotland, in her 53rd year.
THE Friends of Mr. ARTHUR W. SCOTT (brass founder) are respectfully invited to follow the remains of his beloved wife, Elizabeth Baird Inglis Scott, to their last resting place. In the Melbourne General Cemetery. The funeral will move from his residence. Clydebank Cottage, Studley-street, Collingwood, TO-MORROW (Wednesday), 27th May, at a quarter to 3 o'clock precisely.
