Biography
Dorothy (Ingersoll) Phelps was born about 1654 in Northampton, Massachusetts Bay Colony, daughter of John Ingersoll (~1626 - 1684) and Dorothy (Lord) Ingersoll (1629 - 1657).[1]

Dorothy married Jacob Phelps (1650 - 1689) on 2 May 1672 in Westfield, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their children were:

She evidently married a Root/Roote[2] on 7 October 1675 in Farmington, Hartford, Connecticut Colony, but little information can be found of him.
Dorothy died about 1689 in Westfield aged ~35.
