Sergeant Jacob Ingalls Jr. served with Essex County, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Jacob, son of Jacob Ingols & Mary, was born on 1 July 1747 in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1][2]
Jacob married Martha Lewis, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Newhall) Lewis, on 4 June 1772 in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[3]
Second Lieutenant in Captain Joseph Stocker's company.
Five children, Martha, Mary, Richard, Jacob and John.
