Biography

Lawrence Edward Ingalls was born on 30 July 1912 in Hercules, Contra Costa, California, son of Chauncey Edward Ingalls (1871–1960) and Stella May Butler (1883–1979).^[1]

Larry married Dorothy Studt on 2 August 1935 in Reno, Nevada.^[2] Dorothy and Larry had two children and lived in Hercules, California, where Larry worked for Hercules Powder.

After their retirement, they began second careers in archeology. Larry worked as a dig administrator and in the field as an excavator on digs in Israel, Cyprus, Tunisia and Massachusetts.

Lawrence died on 3 April 1987 in San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo, California, aged 74.^[3]
