Biography
Nilus was born on 25 Jun 1924 in Slater, Iowa.[1] He is the son of Nels Ommundson Ihle and Nella Sevrina Knudsdotter Carlson. Nilus served in the US Marine Corps from 3 Jul 1945 to 26 Aug 1946.[2] He married Dorothy Jean Sheldahl on 23 Jun 1948 in Sheldahl, Iowa. Nilus passed away on 4 Feb 2020 in Mesa, Arizona.[3]
