Biography
Richard Ernest Huxley was born on 15th August 1854 at Pitt Town, New South Wales, Australia. He was the seventh and youngest son of Samuel Huxley and Mary Mitchell. He was christened on 10th September 1854 at Pitt Town.
He married Amelia Whitten on 31st December 1887 at Sydney, New South Wales.
He passed away on 14th April 1900 at Brisbane, Queensland and is buried in the Brisbane General Cemetery, Toowong. [1] [2]
