Thomas Hutchins was born in March, 1720 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of Thomas Hutchins (1693–1747) and Sarah Southwick (1694–~1749).

I added the correct wife to Thomas Hutchins, Jr. and also attached their children to that Abigail. She is Abigail Pierce, daughter of John Pierce and Ruth Hilton of Gloucester. Her sister Lydia Pierce married Thomas's brother Edward Hutchins -- it was a case of two sisters marrying two brothers. In addition to Abigail and Lydia, the first five children of John Pierce and Ruth Hilton all moved from Gloucester to the Dudley/Oxford area and are of record there.
