Amy was born in Hobart in 1864, followed by four more siblings in Tasmania (1865-1872) and another five in New Zealand (1875-1883). Amy Florence Hurst (married name Angus)...

Marriage 1) She was married in New Zealand in 1883 to Forbes Angus. They had four children in New Zealand (1884-1889): Amy Elizabeth Jane (1884-1963), Isabella (1885-1965), Drusilla and William Forbes (1889-1967) ANGUS and another nine in Victoria (1890-1904): Esther (1890-1890), James Tasman (1891-1891), Eva Hurst (1892-1982), Forbes Alexander (1893-1973), Robert Keep (1895-1959), Leslie George - incorrectly indexed in VicBDM as "Jessie George" (1897-1917, died WWI in France), Florence Mary (1899-1982), Beryl Ismay (1900-1970) and George Douglas (1904-1994) ANGUS.

Marriage 2) After the death of Forbes Angus she re-married in 1913, in East St Kilda, to widower James SUTHERLAND. They had no children together. Following Amy's death in 1930, James married for the third time, in 1934 to Forbes Angus and Amy's daughter Eva Hurst ANGUS.
