Biography

Helen was born on the 8th March 1887 based on the 1939 National Register, and her birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1887 in the Eastbourne district, Sussex. Her mother's maiden name was Selby.^[1]

She was baptised at Wilmington, Sussex on 29 May 1887. She was the daughter of Edward Edman Hurst & Sarah Jane Selby.^[2]

In the 1911 census Helen (age 24) was the single daughter of Edward Edman Hurst in Ocklyngh, Little Common, Bexhill, Sussex, England.^[4]

In the 1939 National Register Helen (age 52), Superintendent Infant Welfare Health Visit, was recorded as single in Flat 11, Tryon House, Chelsea, Kensington and Chelsea, Chelsea, London, England.^[5]

Helen's death (age 93) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1981 in the Hastings & Rother district, Sussex.^[6]

Helen died on the 19th November 1981 residing in Bexhill, Sussex, England and her estate passed probate on the 8th March 1982 in Brighton, Sussex.^[7]
