William Hungerford immigrated to Charles County, Maryland about 1646.[1]

Marriage

William married Anne Smoot (b. ca. 1640; d. ca. 1662/3) Charles County, Maryland. After the death of Hungerford, Anne (Smoot) Hungerford m.2. William BARTON, Jr

William Hungerford, Sr. m. Ann Smoot, the dau. of William Smoot.[2] between Oct. 19, 1650 or 1651 and May 28, 1658:[3][4][5]

7 Apr 1648: 100 acres on south side of Hierom's Creek, commonly known as Poplar Neck; 30 May 1648: 100 acres on Wiccocomico River; 3 Jun 1650 entered marks for cows and hogs (required by law)[1]

Between Oct. 19, 1650 or 1651 and May 28, 1658:[6][7][8]

Ann gave birth to their son, William Hungerford, Jr.[9]

Death

Died before 20 Mar. 1662, Charles County, Maryland;

1 Oct 1662 William Barton Jr assigned rights to land to his brother in law Thomas Smoote for William Hungerford Jr, son of William who was deceased.
