William was born around 1750. He passed away in 1827.
William's first wife was Marianne Walker in 1768. She died in 1785 after giving birth to their last child. William and Marianne had at least 9 children: John T 1768, Mary 1772, Jesse 1774, William 1775, Margaret 1778 (died before the second Margaret), Francis 1779, David Enoch 1780, Samuel 1781, Anderson 1785 (Died before the second Anderson)
William then married a second wife circa 1787 whose name appears to be Frances Sarratt. This second wife likely died sometime between the birth of their youngest child was born (1800) and 1805, when William married his 3rd wife.
William and Frances had 5 children: Henry 1789, Sarah Susannah 1792, Margaret 1796, Jane 1797, Anderson 1800
William married Lucy Frances Sullivant Sarratt in 1805. No record of any children born to the union since Frances was likely beyond child bearing years at this point (based on her DOB). Frances did have two daughters, Nancy and Lizzie, from her first marriage to Richard Sarratt (died 1784).
I have DNA cousins because of William, his father, William's daughter Jane, and a variety of Sarratts born prior to the Revolution, but no DNA connection to Marianne Walker or Lucy Frances Sullivant. I have doubts that either of these women is Jane's mother though many public trees indicate that. Hoping to source my theory that the second wife was born a Sarratt. Stay tuned.
