Biography
Alta Blanch Humphrey, the daughter of farmer Samuel G. Humphrey and his wife Margret E. Hutchison, was born on Feb. 2, 1890.[1] She married farmer Herman Alexander Ross (1882-1962) on Sept. 14, 1910 in Brighton Township, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada,[1] where she and he continued to live.[2] She had died by 1918 when Herman Ross remarried as a widower.[3]
