Olive was born on 6 October 1849.^[1] In the 1850 census Olive (age 0) was in Radnor, Delaware, Ohio, United States.^[2] In the 1860 census Olive (age 11) was in Cardington, Morrow, Ohio.^[3]

Ollie married Mervin J. Monnett on 5 January 1869 in Morrow County, Ohio.^[4] In the 1870 census Olive Monnette was keeping house in Dallas, Crawford County, Ohio.^[5] In the 1880 census O (age 30), Keeping House, was the wife of M. J. Monnette in Dallas, Crawford, Ohio, United States.^[6] In the 1900 census Olive (age 50) was the wife of M J Monnette in Central, Merrick, Nebraska.^[7] Olive and Mervin sailed from Southampton, arriving on 11 July 1908 in New York.^[8] Olive applied for a passport on 28 December 1909 in Los Angeles, California, to travel with her husband.^[9] In the 1910 census Olive (age 60) was the wife of Mervin J Monnette in Los Angeles Assembly District 72, Los Angeles, California, United States.^[10]
