I took a DNA test and discovered, at age 75, that the dad I knew for 75 years, and who is on my birth certificate, was not my biological father. Through DNA cross-matching tools, I have a very high confidence of having discovered one set of my paternal 2nd-great-grandparents (born 1820), but I have hit a brick wall in identifying more my recent ancestors.
