Biography

Frederick was born in Edington, Wiltshire, England^[1] in July 1867.^[2]

Frederick married Maria Bullock; their marriage was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1899 in the Calne district.^[3][4] Their children born in England were:

• Una Amelia Hughes, born on 26 Jan 1900^[5][6][7]
• Meta Rose Alwyne Hughes, born about 1901.^[8]
