Biography
Benjamin was born about 1763. He is on the muster roll of Captain Abraham Shepherd's company of riflemen who volunteered in 1776; taken prisoner, exchanged, and was paid off in October, 1778. [1] He passed away before 12 September, 1812, according to his daughter Margaret's marriage license.[2]
