Biography

William Huggins Jr has English ancestors.

William was born in England on 3 September 1889, to William and Mary Ann (Baker or Medcalf) Huggins ^[1]

William Married Florence Beatrice Knight on 22 July 1914 ^{[2] [3]}

William joined the army on 20 August 1915 and was discharged from the army on 27 September 1915. ^[4]

William died on 16 July 1930 in Sarnia, Ontario ^[5] According to his death certificate he died from "acute yellow atrophy- liver", a contributory cause is listed as "inhalation of fumes & fire" ^[6]

Note 1: Source for birth is attestation papers when William joined the army for W.W.1, there is no reason to believe that he lied on the papers as he was already married with one child before joining the army.

Note 2: the death certificate has William's mother listed as Mary Ann Medcalf and his marriage license has his mother listed as Mary Ann Baker. I am still looking into birth information in England to confirm his mother's maiden name.
