Biography
George Huckel is one of twins.
George Huckel was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
George Edwin Huckel was the second born of twin sons, on the 20th of March 1900, at home at Hawthorne, Koorawatha in the Colony of New South Wales, the son of James Huckel and Mary Ann Huckel.[1]
Georeg married Kathleen Mary O'Keefe, daughter of Peter and Thersa O'Keefe, on the 5th of July 1924, at Grenfell, New South Wales.[2]
They had five children.
- Noel b 18 Jun 1925, d 1979.
- Melva b 5 Aug 1929, married Charles Stewart 9 Jun 1951.
- Lois, b 27 Jan 1932, m William Cambourne 24 Mar 1956.
- Kevin b 28 Oct 1934, married Sandra.
- Roslyn b 27 Jun 1943, married Melven Brown 11 Sept 1976.
George Edwin Huckel passed away in 1971 at Sydney, New South Wales, and was buried in the Woolongong Crematorium.[3]
