John, son of James and Mary Hubbard of Lockstown Upper, was baptised on the 14th December 1838 in Blackditches, County Wicklow.^[1]

John Hobart of Lockstown, County Wicklow married Margaret Traynor of Coonmore, County Wicklow on the 20th January 1876 in Hollywood, County Wicklow; in the presence of James Hobart and Margaret Traynor.^[2]

John Hobart of Coonmore, County Wicklow married Margaret Hagarty of Lugglass Upper, County Wicklow on the 6th November 1884 in Hollywood, County Wicklow; in the presence of Peter Murphy and Anne Hagarty.^[3]

In the 1901 census John (aged 60), Farmer, was the married head of household in Coonmore, County Wicklow.^[4]

In the 1911 census John (aged 66), Farmer, was the married head of household in Coonmore, County Wicklow.^[5]

John Hubbard died (aged 73) on the 12th November 1912 in Coonmore, County Wicklow^[6] and was buried in Hollywood Cemetery.
